A Day with Huskies!

Visit a husky kennel to learn more about huskies and their amazing abilities! This guided tour gives you a fascinating insight into the daily lives of huskies and their mushers.

This day is packed with fun activities. Meet Siberian huskies and a professional musher for a tour of our kennel, and learn how huskies are trained to be part of a dog sled team. You will have the chance to spend an hour with both husky puppies and adults in our large 3,000 sqm exercise area. Your guide will answer all your questions about training—do all huskies have blue eyes? Do they all have names? There will be plenty of time to get to know the dogs and their unique personalities.

Wrap up the visit with puppies playing and cuddling. If we don’t have small puppies at the moment, we always have Manipi—a 30 kg big boy who never grew up and still thinks he’s a puppy!

Join your guide for a short hike with your very own husky attached to a waist belt. We will go on a 5 km trek through the forest surrounding the kennel, followed by a traditional Swedish fika.

If you love dogs, this is for you! And don’t forget—we only take small groups, which means more personal attention from your guide.

During the period from the first of September to the end of November, this tour can be combined with dog sledding on wheels, and in summer why not extend your stay with a night in our Bed & Kitchen.
