Program Highlights:
- Dog Sledding Adventure: Drive your own team of Siberian Huskies to a historic logging camp.

Itinerary
Day 1: Sledding Adventures & Wilderness Dining
- 12:00 – Welcome Lunch: We begin at Aurora with a shared lunch and a briefing on your upcoming adventure.
- Husky Trek to Järptjärn: We provide high-quality thermal clothing and boots. Then, it’s time to head out! You’ll share a sled in pairs, taking turns driving and enjoying the ride. At the historic logging camp, we enjoy a coffee break while the guide shares stories of the forest workers’ lives in the 1940s.
- Wildlife Scouting: On the way back, we keep a sharp eye out for moose, reindeer, and the Northern Lights dancing across the winter sky.
- Husky Cuddles & 2-Course Dinner: After tending to the dogs, a premium two-course dinner featuring local wild game is served in our cozy guest house.
Day 2: Reindeer Encounters & Sami Traditions
- 08:00 – Breakfast
- Sami Cultural Experience: We travel to Malå to meet Börje, a local reindeer herder. You’ll gain unique insight into the reindeer husbandry year, feed the reindeer by hand, and capture incredible photos.
- Lunch at the Wilderness Camp: We conclude the journey with a classic lunch of suovas (smoked reindeer) in pita bread before saying our goodbyes in Ekorrsele.
Accommodation – Choose Your Experience
The Historic Guest House Stay in a charming, fully renovated farmhouse dating back to 1904. The house blends historic atmosphere with modern comforts, including cozy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and modern shower/toilet facilities.
- Capacity: 3–5 guests (two double rooms and one single room).
Aurora Tepee For those who want to maximize their chances of seeing the Northern Lights directly from bed, we offer stays in our unique glass-windowed tepees.
- Capacity: Up to 4 guests.
