Luxury Within The Wild
This guided Aurora and dogsledding adventure is a three-day tour package combined with one night in our Aurora teepees and one night at Hotel Lappland in Lycksele with spa and a 3-course dinner.
Experience some of the best things Lapland can offer. Good local food, dog sledding, northern lights and overnight stay in northern light tepee, combined with spa and overnight stay in a mini suite and all this in and around Sweden’s largest biosphere reserve
We start this tour mid-day and will run the dog teams in the dark, lighting up with head torches and hopefully Aurora borealis dancing across the sky.
Note: On this tour you need your own car/rental car to get here and also to Lycksele day 2!
Most of the food comes from the neighborhood and most ecological ingredients. Special food or vegetarian is no problem but must be ordered when you make the booking. Alcoholic beverages can be ordered.

Program
Day 1.
Arrival to Ekorrsele at 14.30 where a dog sledding tour of about 15 km awaits you. We equip you with warm clothes and you get a shorter introduction how to handle your cart/sled (depending on the season) before we take off on a dog sledding adventure.
When we return from the tour, there will be coffee and sandwich around the open fire in our little hut by vindelälven. We offer Gahkku with smoked bacon and Västerbotten cheese and coffee cooked over the open fire.
After the coffee you walk out to your Aurora Tepee and take a rest a few hours before it’s time for a two-course dinner with a local touch in our guesthouse. After the dinner it’s time to crawl to bed in your Tepee and hopefully nature offers a wonderful light show.
Day 2
We’ll knock on the door of your Aurora Tepee at 8.30am with a breakfast basket filled with goodies, including quail eggs from our own quails.
After breakfast, it is then time for you to drive up to Lycksele for check-in at Hotell Lappland which is beautifully located on the banks of the Ume River. Your room will be ready around 15.00 but you have access to the spa earlier.
Here you are installed in a newly renovated mini suite and then you can go down to the spa & relaxation area where you will find pool, jacuzzis, cold pool and sauna.Around you will find comfortable seating where between your bath you can enjoy the sound of running water, or also something tasty from the bar.
Later in the evening, a three-course menu is served in Restaurant 64 degrees.

Breakfast and then departure.
